We've moored at both in the past, and I would agree that Adamsons isn't the best end of town.
tommyleyland
Does Warble do residential moorings? Does anyone know if they have space? Oh and is there a number anywhere for them?

mayalld
Does Warble do residential moorings? Does anyone know if they have space? Oh and is there a number anywhere for them? They always have had residents, and unless it has changed hands recently, calling JWD rainwater goods on 0161 351 9990 should get you some answers. StarUKKiwi
Tommy - we are moored near you at present - new Islington is probably your best bet from a travel point of view - the only other residential marina is either New Mills or Macclesfield and trains to Manchester are frequent and then walk through and up to the university on Oxford Road - whether there is room is another matter
tommyleyland
Ok, I'm going to view Warble this weekend and failing that, Captain Jack's place. Hyde is plenty close enough to Manchester. I'll keep you updated as we go
DHutch
Have you spoken with Sale Cruising club? I do not know what the details or deal is there, although we did secure a few months one winter in the wet dock under the bridge for a reasonable fee. Its on the Bridgewater, which has pros and cons, however it is also on the Tram network. Daniel

Liam
The Bridgewater has only 3 residential sites, those are at Preston Brook Marina, Stretford Marina and Bridgewater Marina in Boothstown. The onyl one with available residential berths is Preston Brook Marina and the contact details can be found on the Bridgewater Canal website. http://www.bridgewatercanal.co.uk

Cavalier Jon
Tommy I spoke to you last week - did you check out GM traincard? Cheaper than a season ticket from Marple I think.
