Hi

can anyone recommend someone that does a full engine service for a Vetus M4.14 please, in the Banbury area.

 

Also what should a full service include?

Depends on what your 'engineer' decides it includes.

For me it would be a minimum of :

 

Oil change

Oil Filter

Fuel Filter

Pre-Fuel Filter

Air filter

Maybe Fan belt change ( certainly fan belt checked / adjusted)

Engine mounts checked/ tightened replaced if necessary

If raw water cooled - replace impeller

And a general visual check round for chaffed hoses, wires etc. in the engine bay. Coolant level. I take it you check the water levels in your batteries?

I had RCR do all the above for me and checked leads/pipes etc plus taught me how to do it, cost £165.00.

Very pleased with them.
