National User Group, Brum, 10th Sept

It's very short notice...

Because of Sue's knee, and her having an appointment, I cannot attend the user group meeting on Wednesday. Would someone like to step in to do this on behalf of the forum on this occasion?

It is held at The Bond in Birmingham, 10:30 until 1:00, followed by a buffet lunch. I have an agenda here (somewhere). It's pretty simple stuff, a few presentations from CRT, perhaps a couple of small workshops and the opportunity to ask a few questions. On the other hand, it's worthwhile attending if only to see what CRT are doing and to meet the huge variety of other users

Could I suggest that this would be an opportunity for someone who hasn't been to some of the other CRT meetings?

Excellent - you will be ideal! Experience of canals on boating is what is needed, there are plenty of meeting experts in the room already

PM me your email address and I'll let you have the agenda and attendee details

Richard

I'll try and post more detail of the meeting with CRT when I can sit down and try and make sense of them.

For now, I can say that I came away impressed that CRT really are trying. I like Richard Parry and his approach.

I like the fact that so many waterways users were at the meeting.

Oh, and, as has been said before, they do read the forum.
