Tuscan
Ah, but Jeff came from Marks & Spencers. A pre condition for managing one of the busiest canals I would have thought.
jenlyn
A pre condition for managing one of the busiest canals I would have thought.Trouble is, it seems they were running a non returns agenda at the time they got rid. I suppose now it will be a "dine in for two at a marina near you".That does have a sort of jingle ring to it :-)
jenlyn
Jeff states "It is a great time to be joining the business. The marina market is very dynamic and BWML is an important player within it. I am particularly excited about the challenge of working with a new team and to getting out and meeting our moorers - listening to their thoughts and ideas is how we'll continue to improve what we offer." At this week's South East waterways forum, Jeff stated " that NAG recommended that all VMs be 2 days". Let's hope he listens a little better when he gets to BWML! I for one will applaud the fact that he has moved on. Edited April 12, 2014 by Loddon
Tuscan
As Geoff Whyatt says the market is very dynamic at the moment , it will be interesting to see if this is indeed an exciting challenge or an interim role while the marinas are disposed off as non core to the charitable needs of the trust.
