ChrisPy
its a Frolic 21, originally built as a 'gentleman's launch' (no good for me then! ) with steam or electric power. This one has been converted to diesel.

NB Willawaw
No need to apologise - last time I looked this site was called Canalworld, not Narrowboats Only on Board (I like the acronym). Its good to see a variety of boats.

cereal tiller
lovely boat! i do disagree with the title of the post though. what you have aquired is a GRP replica of a classic river launch,i helped a friend fit one out with a steam plant in the eighties. i always think of "tupperware" as boats that have no style and they are not constructed at all well and wont have the timeless quality that your new vessel most definately has. enjoy. The "tupperware" are built so poorly in fact that no one knows how long they will last. The original ones "mass" produced in the 50's and 60's are still plodding on strong with no sign of giving up just yet. Very poorly built that is

ChrisPy
there was a guy on the news driving a JCB rough terrain front loading shovel who could show you how - until he knocked down a few gravestones and a cemetery gate that is.
