I plan on going out this summer for a good few weeks but need to get back to my car at various points to go and do some gigs, what do people use to get back to cars, i was thinking of a powered cycle or moped, does anybody here use them?, can you use a powered cycle on the towpath?

I use a Di Blassi folding motorbike from my boat all the time. It is absolutely brilliant. It folds up easily, fits in the boot of the car, and on the boat it sits unobtrusively inside a bag in the corner of the saloon. I have had it for about two years with plenty of use and no problems

The UK importer is a company called ConceptEdge in Hillingdon and I found them great to deal with both with the initial sale and with subsequent spare parts.

Whats wrong with walking?

Because it takes longer...... ( thinks she must be blonde )

Bicycle etc etc can multiply the speed of which you travel therefore making the return journey for a car shuffle/train/bus much quicker

which is the object of the exercise

£1,700 will get you a lot of taxi rides/bus journeys/train fares

"£1,700 will get you a lot of taxi rides/bus journeys/train fares"

And £1,700 gets you a vehicle that goes door to door, on demand, at exactly the time you want it to!

I would go so far as to say, it is the best addition I have ever made to my narrowboat. It opens up boating possibilities I could never have managed without it. Without it I would travel a lot less in my boat.
