What is a reasonable time

The hire firm we have been with say not before 8am and personally I think thats a civilised time.

 

Thats with a hire company boat. Whe you have your own boat the choice is yours (normally).

I think you will find that that refers to static charging etc...

 

What's the difference? Same noise! Except while travelling the resultant ripples rock someone else's boat!

And while travelling you are not imposing continuous background noise on others all evening cos the boat is moving and will be out of earshot quite quickly.
