So nice to see some of these pictures. Shire Cruisers, Sowerby Bridge we were there in 95. We had visited a boat builder in Hebdon Bridge a little way from Sowerby, to see and eventually order a boat. So nice to be reminded, seems so long ago now.

The buildings were there when we visited. Are they still awaiting the vibrancy, even just a little bit.

Caledonian Canal at Tomnahurich, with the new Swing Bridge worksite and the completed bridge, all part of the Inverness West Link project. It will work in conjunction with the existing older swing bridge to allow boats to pass along the canal while A82 road traffic can still cross the canal either ahead or behind the boat.
