More from the north: the last traffics to Wigan,;Bulholme Lock on the Aire & Calder; Newark; Keadby; and from 1920, the tug 'Robin Hood' and charges at Cromwell on the Trent. Intriguingly, there appears to be a leisure cruiser moored against the LH wall (with a fender out as a precaution).

The Squinty bridge! Not its official name but it acquired that name shortly after it was opened and that is how it is known now.
