  1. In the directors cut ( which was banned in 7 countries) the ecofan actually took off and sliced some of the baying mobs ears and noses off quite graphically. The graph was used by Calfarm as evidence of the ecofans performance.
  2. I can honestly blame the autocorrect on this blummin mobile.
  3. It would be lovely to see it back in the water after all that lovely steelwork was done. I go through Tamworth so often, I always have a peep at the Bascote Boatyard to see what' going on and see theophilus moved occasionally but nothing seems to be going on with it.....Richards post suggest otherwise. ...
  4. Which colours are you needing rob?? (Ral no's best)
  5. We have switched to Symphony ( formerly rapid paints?) In the last 18 months as Sayers paints changed from reliable to extremely unreliable. Symphony mix masons p type and any other we ask for. Oxford Blue has at least 3 different shades that I know of, depending on which paint Co colour swatch you are looking at.
  6. I love it that people go in marinas when the cruising season finishes (CRT strapline).
  7. I have a 3 blade and a 2 blade on my stove, I wouldn't have them there if I didn't know they make a difference. I also have a sense of umour.
  8. Barrow Deep Lock. Taken from the Proctors Campsite Bridge.
  9. Ones designed for Southern Hemisphere use are wired in reverse and will add cold air to the stove top if used in England.
  10. After my recent attempts to use the search facility, he's probably best asking the question ...
  11. Marinas...pah, umbug. Lovely cruising today, bit grey but no wind and no boats around. Pennywort spotting.
  12. Why, just to please your angst??
  13. There may not be an inspection hatch at all depending on who did the fitout...or who has worked on the boat since. Any inspection hatch is likely to be as near to the engine bulkhead as it can be, probably inside a cupboard or step. If there isn't one, you can make one quite easily, a multi tool is the easiest way. That sounds like a lot if water though.....have you got a bowthruster? ? Quite a common fail point in Liverpool hulls which may not have been maintained properly.
  14. It included 7 pictures of BW vessels moored on lock landings and visitor moorings(and one IN a lock), when they were saying there was congestion everywhere.
  15. The pound above the admiral Nelson at Braunston I hope the icebreaker has been moved!! (Sharpness for people who want to add to the puns above)
  16. I did get one of these in March 2011 above Stonebridge lock in the Lee Navigation, sent them my weeks pictures of the cruise up to Hertford and Bishops Stortford in between the sightings
  17. Touchy, threw no stones.... the overstay comment was aimed at Mrsmelly.
  18. Go on, I'll bite, exactly how long were you moored outside Mercia marina mid October to start of November. ...??? .....and you still get more overstay notices than me
  19. Blaming your blummin boat for your tree fetish ...I've heard it all now.
  20. A week before the BCN challenge in May.
  21. Large generator was stolen from a boat moored in Braunston this week. It was chained and well secured. It would have taken 2 people to move it.
