We first fitted a pot .made it up before going to bed.luckely I read for some time and became aware of a hot smell. Whent to se a red hot glowing monster.spent the next 30 minutes emptying the stove with tongues on to the towpath.the casting are so bad the doors don't shut it down.keep away from the things.

Welding no problem been welding it for 45 years some people read books but they never do it same old thing

When you take scrap it is up to the chap on the door to say what you have brought in .so you may have brought in bats but he may put cast or assortment of steel.who knows or can argue months later.

Hi I did a 30 foot up to just above water line in 4 mm cost £1.700 labor and metal for me . He paid for the d.i.y shed and power etc . Hope this may help .Bob the welder
