  1. I have heard that - but there not that many NB with washers. We certainly haven't Alex
  2. Hi I would still suspect the battery's, being of unknown quality. 4 x 110a battery's fully charged with no fridge and such a low load should last days. Knacked battery's will take increasing less charge from the alternator so take longer to charge. Maybe an amp meter should be on this winters list, it will show how much is going in and out. Alex
  3. Hi Why would you want a pure sine wave ? - I've found quasi sign wave seem to work everything fine. Alex

  7. You need to check they are big enough for the load of the pump. They seem to be 14A at 12V. There is a PDF download of assembly instructions HERE Alex
  8. Hi If you can slide it in you have no worry s, if there was any play in it - I wouldn't be happy. As Innisfree says - grease it well. Make sure you align it with the gearbox carefully. Alex

  12. I'm not sure this will test the integrity of the ELCB and eathing. ELCB should trip if it see's a fault, so you need a tester that will trip it. Alex
  13. I've always thought this idea stems from the old days when engines had long strokes and low revs - and poor oil. Modern engines with modern oils are not nearly as prone to glazed bores. The only advantage I can see is that it may heat your calorifier water up a little quicker. Alex
  14. Hi Is the electric fuel pump working - you should hear it ticking without the engine running. Take of the pipe from the tank to the filter and blow down it - you should hear bubbling from inside the fuel tank - there might be a blockage at the bottom of the feed pipe. Alex
  15. I think you will have to buy one that fits your consumer unit - there are many different makes. I also think you may have to buy a bigger one than you need but the circuit breakers will keep every thing safe This one is smallish ....RCD Alex
  16. And mine. Although your's looks a bit further away Alex
  17. Hi Chris I have always held the opinion that a good gap between prop and rudder is conducive to good handling. It gives the water time to produce a directed stream of water onto the rudder, a smaller prop would also increase the likely hood of producing this stream. A big prop near the rudder (IMHO) just splashes against the rudder. But who knows Alex
  18. 4mm or 5mm nylon air pipe is under mine Alex
  19. Really I look forward to you convincing me differently Alex
