If you wary about doing it on the own St Pancras Cruising Club normally organise a number of Barrier cruises during the year, worth keeping an eye on their website.   15. If you were to try this it is worth noting that not only are there 132, 000 volt cables under the Regents towpath but that they are water cooled so even if you miss the cables you may well create a fountain. Tim
  16. We've blacked the baseplate of Fulbourne several times at Rickmansworth but would admit that it wasn't the nicest of tasks, debdale is good as they use an overhead gantry crane which can place the boat on high trestles as someone has mentioned. Tim

  24. If you reallt want top dollar the most expensive moorings I am aware of on the canal in Central London are at Ice Wharf at Kings Cross at £8k ! Details here Tim
