regarding some people having access problems from windows machines - could it be an issue with their local dns cache? might be worth flushing it (did the move to a new server result in a new ip address?)

For light weight, proper tent style I do have one of these - Go-lit Hex 3 (as you the OP mentioned) . IF you want to be proper light weight you can use your walking poles as the centre pole and not bother with the inner part, - but both the inner and the fly are very light and pack down well.

Bivvi bag and tarp. or if I know that it's woodland / trees - hammock and tarp. depending on the seasons - depends on the sleeping bag etc.
