  1. The last time we were at the top of the Wigan flight it was awful but eased up as you got towards Chorley.
  2. Good to hear. The Indian takeaway next to Tesco Express is top notch too.
  3. Not to be missed if you like your beer. Never the same selection 2 days running and usually 6 or 7 different independent breweries.
  4. Then you could have gone to the White Bear. Another reputable hostelry.
  5. At least the op knows a good pub crawl into nantwich and back now. The pub on the right as you get towards Nantwich centre (the name escapes me) is a gem of a very old pub.
  6. It is a lot more than a 15 minute walk from NANTWICH embankment into NORTWICH.
  7. ///regime.traps.shared I have done it from here before. Bit if a walk but doable with a pub for refreshment afterwards.
  8. So 40,50,70 litres whatever the amount is. How do you dispose of it (legally and responsibly)? And is it worth the hassle to change it?

  10. From Marketing Week Website. P&O Cruises has launched an advertising campaign to distance itself from the still under-fire P&O Ferries business, as its own brand health continues to decline. The firm published a full page advert in several daily newspapers on Friday 25 March, supported by a short film running on social media and broadcast video-on-demand platforms. In both formats, the campaign aims to clarify that P&O Cruises is not affiliated with P&O Ferries and is part of an entirely separate company. P&O Cruises is owned by leisure travel firm Carnival Corporation, whereas P&O Ferries is owned by shipping and logistics business DP World.

  12. I have to say that I thought The WEEE (Waste electrical and electronic equipment) regulations placed a responsibility on retailers to help with disposal of old appliances even if they charge for the service. It sounds like MC are choosing to side step this obligation.
  13. If it is an RCD that is tripping unplug the fridge and try it again.
  14. We use freesat all the time. If wanting telly make sure there is an open aspect to the South East and aim. No need for any special technology to find the satellite. The key is planning ahead when you moor up. We just work from the canal books.
  15. Low heat setting and high fan speed is the solution we have come up with. It seems to satisfy those who need it. We still run the engine tho just to be on the safe side.
