The 60's was a different era. If you watched anything by any means you needed a licence as it all came via the transmitters. On the plus side if you couldn't get a good picture you could complain and they were obliged to assist (as they are still now if pushed hard!).

Came across this which I found interesting. I'd be concerned about breaking the vertical panels with vegetation etc that you go through.... stick on flat panels might work though?? See what you think....

Often wondered about the instant gas water heaters - assume they dont heat up at all via the engine, so not so good for frequent/CC'ers?

Thats interesting. I would have bet it would use less - less friction etc? Maybe this is one of the reasons transporting via canal died out..

This is the main thing I found when i went self-employed. I suddenly saw that if someone gets paid X to do a job in 2 or 5 days, then why do a job in 2 days - no incentive other than having a good work ethic, but people who have that get put upon supporting those that don't.

I notice lots of people use the go-kart tyres, are these any good for putting down when mooring?
