  9. Buying private and you will not need to pay the 6% they change, private sale and you can see all the past licence tickets and paper work, which a lot of brokerage will not have or pass on, private sellers will tell you a lot more about the boat, how this and that works etc, private every time for me.

  15. Phil Trotter , i/e R.W.Davis have done a few, he never has advertised, and do a boat to blow your mind away, saw the last one they did, not a boat to be missed,, worth a trip down there. ,
  16. Don't do anything until you been to R.W.Davis, Saul junction,
  17. The draft of a boat is determined by the builder when he builds it, I/e from bottom of counter to top of skeg,, What you are talking about is the draw of your boats , which can be anything as all people load there boats with all sorts of things,, so from the water line to the bottom of skeg can be anything, if you put your gold deplumes in the back it will be deeper, more gold more deeper. Then you have the fact it will pull down depending on how much power you put on. That's why draft is in the specification, which the builder can determine to obtain the specification That should bring a big response daft is now draft,, sorry folks

  21. you can tell all the local bw people you like, but if a checker with his hand held computer walks past ,, you get put on the syatem no mater what and it's the computer that sends the bill out,, and make sure the chap with the hand held computer gets you in the correct mode ,, i/e moving moored etc,, as that can be a problem
  22. I was visiting a friend a few years ago on the permit holders mooring,, only there for 30 minutes,, guess what,,, got checked and then a few days later a bill for £800.00 ,, you try telling the girl in the office that......never paid the bill, but was red flagged on there computer system for ages,, and I have a winter mooring
  23. There is a brook which enters above the culvert, for the M5, and can and does go up and down like a fiddlers elbow,, be careful,, we just got under at 6'-5" . next day it was 6'-1" so you see depends on this brook which I can not remember it's name at this point in time.
