DaveR
Rather expensive boat For just over a quarter of a million the description is somewhat bare. It says there is more info on the web site but I can not see a link - am I missing it? I am suprised this is not advertised in an estate agents rather than a place where folk can see it is a tad overpriced. Oh well, good luck to them. nbtafelberg
I agree Dave i'd say more like £59,000 than £259,000 unless they think the mooring is worth that but I *THINK* that's a BW Marina which means you can't sell the mooring with the boat. Lady Muck
Some London BW moorings are transferrable - that looks like Limehouse - which is transferrable AFAIK. But that looks expensive, even for Limehouse.

Boaty Jo
'Next to Olympic Games site'. They could have added 'perfect for amateur athelete with small but exclusive entourage'.

But that looks expensive, even for Limehouse. I don't think Limehouse is that close to the Dome. It's probably West india, Milwall or the one of the Royal Docks. Still they are definately trying to cash in. I tried to buy a boat on a temporary mooring around there once, but when I spoke to the woman running the marina about the possibility of making it permanent I was told that nobody jumps the waiting list. I suppose that if the boat is already permanently moored it's transferable.
Natalie Graham
Their website has a link to a film about living at Poplar Dock Marina, so presumably that's where it is. There seems to be a few other boats of various sorts for sale there with residential moorings, but I haven't seen anything for that price.
stewey
The boat clearly is based at Poplar Dock Marina. Details of Marina here: http://www.bwml.co.uk/marina/13/poplar+dock+marina/ Must be some boat at that price! Stewey
