Thrapston moorings

We are currently moored at Thrapston on the River Nene. A guy on a large ride on mower has completely covered the boat in grass. He claimed he is working for the sailing club alongside and that he did not realise what he had done. Self employed contractor did not give a stuff. Seemed to have an attitude to boaters.  Beware when visiting what is otherwise a good mooring and a pleasant little town.

As it is a windy day, I can't see how he could have mowed it without getting grass on your boat.

It has to be done regularly and there are nearly always boats moored there (often unattended)

I got told off for strimming the Bank of the Friends of the river Nene's Woodford mooring by a cheeky bugger that wasn't even a member and, as such, should not have been moored there! ;0)

Has it damaged your boat?
Could you remove it with a couple of buckets of river water?

He is employed to cut the grass and not to pander to your needs.
