Paint supplier

Time to paint the boat bow to stern an expensive job. Wondered if anyone could recommend a supplier on line who offer a good price. Also used toplac before is there a quality alternative?

Was looking at the paints in Aldi, and was amused to find that my boat's previous owner used them!

They're actually really good quality paints, if you can find the right colour. Whoever named the various colours isn't exactly a marketing genius though, as the horrendously named 'Rape Yellow' stands to testify.

 

EDIT to add, the link article is a couple of years old, and they do a lot more colours now than it says there.

Craftmaster. Not cheap but you won't be doing it again, so not relatively much on an annual basis.

I bought my jotun paint from SML Paints & Coatings, very helpful and reasonably cheap for marine paints.

I should have added "for several years or more"

Look at Dacrylate. 5 litres of RAL mixed enamel is about 45 quid and good paint to work with.

I've used one of the reds, (Alpha I think), and several people in the club have raved about both the colour and the finish. It's been on since about September.

I'm using Manor Coatings from Shipley Paints as it was recommend to me. They have an outlet just out of Leeds near Knostrop (as well as Shipley) so handy if your around that area.
