Hi I used to be able to use flickr as a host, cut and paste the bb code on to a cwdf post with no problems at all, as with a lot of things computerwise flickr updated, cwdf updated, I didn't, now I don't get the choice of a bb code, just a link address which cwdf rejects with

I use flickr, just checked (safari browser) and the BB code is still there.

I use Flickr too, with no problems. The difference now is that you don't post the BB code into the "insert a picture" thingy, you just post it all straight into the message that you are typing.

Or I've done the right click on the image and use the copy URL option.

I've got frustrated using Flickr as they seem to have changed things (for no good reason that I can see).

 

Here's my method that seems to work.

 

Log in to your Flickr account from a normal web browser URL (i.e. not the mobile URL, as in m.flickr.com, nor from the Android app, because these don’t allow you to get the necessary BB code).

The image must be “public" (you can change the access via the “i” icon).

In the panel on the right of the photo, click on the share icon:

then the drawing pin (BBcode) icon:

Then select an image size:

You will see the code to be copied and pasted straight into the CWDF editor:

This has the image URL inside img and /img tags.

You can test this before posting in CWDF by clicking "Preview Post"

Nope still no joy obviously doing something silly.....I'll have to find someone computer literate to hold my hand and lead me throughit...........I'm going to bed ......my head hurts!!!!

I don't seem to be able to progress I can't find how to get a full size image and I can't get rid of the description etc wording that comes with it.

In post #5, in the 3rd pic see where it says "Med 500 x 375", click on the little arrow beside it and you can set what size you want to link to. Do this before copying the link and it will post the size you want.

Oh, and you can't get rid of the text. Well you can, but lets concentrate on getting you posting larger pictures first
