Ange
Another vote for the Aylesbury Canal Society Launderette list - we bought it when we moved aboard and it's found us launderettes in very obscure places. Thanks to Keeping Up and Pingu who recommended it in our very early boating days. Eek - came very close to posting a greengrocer's apostrophe! DaveC
Before we got our washing machine we had the Aylesbury Canal Society laundrette list and found that a lot of the laundrettes had closed. One omission in many cases was a telephone number for the laundrettes, this would enable one to check if they are still there before trooping off with a load of laundry. So if a list does get posted on here please include a phone number! Dave

Cheers Gareth I can vouch for the Pershore one (on the Avon), used it just last week. Much better machines than the launderette at Ellesmere! Ally
Not for the op, but Loughborough has one in The Rushes, near the basin. It's between a wilkos & a Witherspoons, so that cuts waiting boredom.
