Hi All

 

I have a small cottage right alongside a canal spur near Llangollen. It is for sale, and I wondered if anyone knows of an Estate Agent that specialises in sales like mine?

There is a possibility that I can get permission for end of garden mooring.

Many thanks for the replies, message 2 no it's not my place - mine is much smaller. It is right alongside the spur that feeds the rest of the Llangollen canal etc, just a mile from the basin in Llangollen.

Sorry for the delay in replying - but we have been away for a couple of days!

Unfortunately, the pictures make the place look smaller than it is - although as I said in an earlier post it is small!!!

 

The original valuation was £220.000, we put it up for £180,000, and during the winter we reduced the price to £165,000 with the intention of putting the price back up to the original for the summer

Gosh! Its sure is all about location isn't it? Our house is more than twice as big as yours with a huge garden and is probably has a value of about £110,000.

tillergirl, you could be right, the location is fabulous, a really lovely setting. The valuation was from the agents....
