To ease some cabin fever

Naughty Cal

Featured Posts

On a similar theme to Bazza's post yesterday, a little game to ease some winter boredom and relieve a bit of cabin fever.

Spot the location. Some of these are easier than others

None, you will have to be a little more specific than that :)

5 is the entrance to the Erewash isn't it where it meets the trent - not sure because I've not seen it from that angle before..

No

Come on, these are the easy ones

Well, I've tried working it out from the available clues, but my knowledge of BW handrails is sadly lacking. Otherwise, it could be on a canal of some kind somewhere in England

Richard

Maybe an analysis of the plant types and national coverage is the way to go

No 2 has a sort of familiarity about it. It's rather like Keadby due to the extra gates etc but I'm sure Phylis is going to tell me how wrong I am

Roger

Not Keadby, but you are closer than most. Getting towards the right part of England anyway

No 4 - is the NB learner steerers course... must be with all those super sized fenders againgst the bank.....

No 4 is very much in the land of tupperware. Narrowboats are very much a minority, in fact the last time we were there we didnt see a single narrowboat in the whole two weeks we were there. :)

No 1 is the Mersey where it meanders off the ship canal near Warrington but I don't know how Phylis got there.

No2 is definitely a lock, I've been in loads just like it.

No 3 I saw on TV last night, it's a slurry lake attached to one of those giant dairy farms in USA

No 4 is a tupperware party in suburbia somewhere..

No 5 I don't know, but the water is very still and flat so it isn't the North Sea.
