Use a meter from Halford. No Your engine will be stopped. Yes No Insulation blanked over the engine if your that worried.

Take only dead trees that are standing, the woods dry and easier to cut/chop, and Ash burns fierce..

So testing a battery (with a hydro) within a few hours of being charged is a no no? Can anything be gained from such readings ?

Ear Plugs, you need ear plugs and eye patches...Told you so..

Alternative would be Rolls Batteries. I use 4 x6 volt to give 24v. Rolls Series 4000 S-600 6 volt. 450amps @ 20 hour rate. Been using them for over a year, no measurable change in SG, performance, etc.

And that's why the "private hirers" are doing well. I know of three narrowboats that "hire" to selected family members and friends and friends of friends.. I also know they do not have a commercial licence.. ..
