Spam messages send via PM system

It was the one offering me breast enlargement that caused concern.

I have noticed the last couple of days I am getting private messages from this forum that are spam - how can I stop this and is anyone else having his issue.

 

Spam gets right up my b****y nose.

Another forum I go on will only allow you to send a post or e mail every 3 or 4 minutes hence detering spammers, not sure if this is possible here.

The last offender was simply deleted but with this latest one, I have tried a different tack. I have suspended him/her for 365 days this will make it more difficult for them to rejoin the forum under a new name.

 

May I re-iterate my earlier plea that members immediately report any unsavoury or spam PMs to the Site Crew using the standard PM facility. It works but we cannot deal with something if we do not know about it!

I'm probably being thick but what is the "standard PM facility"?
