I was planning on going to London just for the hell of it on Saturday so may well have to visit Little Venice and see what's going on there.

It’s listed as The IWA canalway cavalcade on the list above 4-6th May here so you could get lucky ?

That’s why I said it. I was planning on going to London anyway and then saw it on the list.

We'll be coming up through the Droitwich festival from the Severn direction on Saturday afternoon, if I can find a spot to stop for a beer I will, but suspect we'll be walking back down from the marina too !

There’s space in Netherwich basin. Moor anywhere else and you might get collared for a fee.

I shall be attending at various times over the weekend, sans boat as that’s elsewhere at present.

Kennet will be at the Saltaire Arts Festival Sat-Mon, and open 11am-4pm. We do have a selection of second hand canal books for sale.

Indeed there was, plenty. We were only going to stop for a look around, but since they've got decent beer from the Old Swan on, and the weather is absolutely lovely for a change we've decided there's no rush to get back to the marina so we're here for the night 👍

They always have good beer. The urge to test out the new garden furniture and fire up the pizza oven has won over a trip to the beer tent, even if it is less than 10 minutes walk from home.
