Good News

 

But as the boat was stolen in November why did its theft take so long to filter through ?

Its now the middle of December ?

I receive email reports from "Stolen Boats" They obviously didn't report it there http://www.stolenboats.org.uk/

The quicker the info gets out the more likely the boat will be spotted

We're ditch crawlers. I believe the BISMARCK was a sea going vessel over 4.16m wide. Or am I missing something? Well found Chris *******ld marina again, thats a bit bad.

IIRC, finding the Bismark wasn't a major problem, it was sinking her. (There's some evidence that even after the pounding she received from Rodney and King George V at close range, she was still floating, and only sank because her crew scuttled her to prevent capture.)

Spoke with owner about 8pm , due to info I gave him he found his missing boat

It had been very badly repainted by the miscreants, it has now been moved back to the marina

Police are involved but I know no more than that

One happy owner, job done

Excellent result and thank you to everyone who said they would look out for this boat. I knew you would help! I think the owner had just discovered the theft as, like many boaters, I expect, his boat is in a marina and he doesn't get the chance to visit regularly. That's just my thoughts.
