It has been mentioned on here many times that a lot of people started out on the canals in a small fibreglass cruiser.
These cruisers were I believe originally built for river use but prooved pretty robust and more than capeable of withstanding the rough and tumble of the canal locks amd provided a cheap start into boating.
Although many good examples of Dawncrafts, Normans, Freemans etc still grace our canals today, my question is this -
Are there any outfits out there now who are making small narrow beam fibreglass cruisers that may grace the canals in 30 - 40 yrs time when very few of todays cruisers will be left afloat?
