The Hurst park racecourse image is impressive. I knew there had been a racecourse there by the River but never seen an image of it. 

 

 

 

 

The bridge style structure used to be on Graburn Way and was where the racetrack crossed the road. It was I ibelive the only straight mile racecourse. When they built houses on it we went to a look at a show home. All the houses used to be only in the West Molesey end which was the poorer end of Molesey on the residents insisted on just saying Hurst Park

I suspect it is the Pre-war PS Royal Sovereign https://www.tuckdbpostcards.org/items/127578-p-s-royal-sovereign

 

The name later transferred to a diesel ship that operated on the lower Thames well into the 1960s.
