What do Covid Rules allow on the canal?

Fish can't get coronavirus 'cause they don't have any lungs*, or respiratory system. Therefore fishing should be perfectly safe for both the fish and the fish botherer. Aside from the metal hook through the lips thing of course.

That's prejudice against body modification that is.  Some people like the "kilt pin through the nose" look.

I doubt many fish want to get, or can give informed consent. to this sort of piercing.

They only see the maggot, not the hook, so it is deceitful. Not very nice to maggots either, getting impaled, then drowned.

They should do the anglers for false advertising or mis-selling.
