umpire111
Trying to source the workings as shown where the chair, sofa makes into a bed. Need the sliders, struts, leg supports etc and suppose someone somewhere is producing them. All advice welcomed
jonathanA
Not sure about buying these but I had my joiner make one based on a Mike Jordan design. Think it’s in one of his books and also was in an article in one of the canal magazines.

Alan de Enfield
I made our base, but the curved bed slats, the rubbery / plasticy slat end pieces and the metal legs came from Ikea. Edit to add link https://www.ikea.com/gb/en/cat/slatted-bed-bases-24827/ https://www.ikea.com/gb/en/p/loenset-slatted-bed-base-70278706/ You can buy individual components, or a complete one and cut down and use however many slats you need. Jennifer McM
We bought an extendable bed base from ebay for our bed (not the pullman), heavy duty spring (drop down) brackets supports the extension. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Extendable-Bed-Frame-with-Sprung-Slats-Easily-repair-your-Bed-/182798258066 We've attached the base to gas strut brackets, so the base easily lifts as an ottoman bed to access storage underneath. Sounds great, looking into that
