  5. Well let's get rid rid of fenders all together, and the quicker people are aware of there own circumstances the better. That way there will be no sinkings in lock, no side boat damage to other party's boat while reversing and none of the other hundreds of things a decent well hung pair of fenders offer. Darren

  7. The double link chains were opened up and turned at some point in its life. All links are 100% genuine, one from a GU family of the boats and the other two from my nans. Quite a few if you look we're opened up and turned, good examples are in Sonia rolts book "a canal people" Darren

  15. We took a picture of it this year being pushed to Uxb boat ctr by a wood & Hall tug for a check over, blacking and tarting up. Quite a site to see a boat with 3/4 of its bow missing travelling along. Darren
