Hi all, long time no post. Sold The Moorhen after 3 years continuous cruising and gone back to dry land. It was great but all good things have to end sometime.
On behalf of our son I am after some advice maybe from someone who's already tackled the same problem. He currently lives on a widebeam 57' x 10'6 near York. He's thinking of moving the boat south to Tewkesbury. It is probably going to be best to take it somewhere like Goole, get it craned out and transported all the way but much more fun to turn it into a holiday and sail it to one of the choke points, crane it out, transport it to the nearest convenient point on the south side and then cruise on to Tewkesbury.
What does the panel suggest?
All the best, Jami
