  1. They all have flat tyres 'cos they sold all the foot pumps off cheap. Nowt that a few cubes of readymix won't sort out.
  2. My thoughts on this distorted roof are ;- 1 Fire damaged shell? 2 R&D shell with a fairly flat roof with little bow in it, I know of 2 that have been filled from new. 3 Moroccan shell, they were so bad that they were filled all over. I would just fill it again, U Pol filler is good for thick application or live with it painted and covered by PV panels, planks, poles, ropes etc.
  3. CRT comment. Thank you for contacting us about the towpath closure at Market Drayton. Unfortunately, it is not possible to reschedule the work for later in the year. We do appreciate that it is not ideal carrying out the work during the summer months, but it is part of a wider programme of work being carried out and it is not possible to reschedule the work for later in the year. This work is part of a wider towpath improvement scheme in the region, part funded by a grant from the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development (EAFRD) Rural Tourism Infrastructure programme. Other schemes in this project include current works taking place at Great Haywood and planned works at Lions Quay on the Llangollen. The funding is time limited, so we have taken the difficult decision to carry out the works in the summer months. We are focused on complete towpath closure to get the works done quickly and efficiently to avoid closing any longer than we have to and also keeping the boating customer facilities at Market Drayton open during the works. We are working closely with local residents and community groups to complete the works ahead of the planned Market Drayton Festival in September. We appreciate you writing and sharing your feedback with us. The local team are meeting with the project delivery team and contractors to understand what mitigation can be put in place and when there are updates, we will be publishing on our stoppage notice website to inform our customers. Kind regards, Jenny Jenny Chu Customer Service Administrator Over and out. TD'
  4. It should be tattooed nearer to the site of use in case you ever need assistance.................................... If you are using sealants in sockets, you put it on the pipe only then it does not restrict the flow.
  5. Sorry, trying to answer 2 posts at the same time, I can no longer multitask.
  6. That is the problem, they are migrating to Vodabone network hence the new sim requirement.
  7. I average the normal 240v under counter fridge running on a decent inverter at 50 Ah per day, seems to work out about right.
  8. But I don't need any data, just phone/text. Why is everyone intent on selling me data that I don't need? What happened to having no "account" and just topping up a phone?
  9. Its a good bet that the non return valve is where the blockage is, can you disassemble it?
  10. Strictly phone calls and texts in UK only.
  11. Cling film the bowl first before doing this !!!!!!!!
  12. I have been happy with ASDA mobile pay as you go for years. Now they want me to use a new sim because they are changing provider. Despite their email saying it has been delivered, I still have not got it. Trying to phone them is a joke, they are experiencing technical problems! Should I give up and change over to another company, if so which is best?
  13. Prestex compression fittings use their own fine thread, most others use BSP threads.
  14. I have had 5 Zanussi 1300 machines on boats that would fail to complete the cycle when on inverters. The problem seems to be that in the pauses between cycles the machine draws very little power and the inverters go to sleep. Running with a 40w lamp on at the same time cures this in my experience. But your inverter is too small as well, I think you are expecting too much. You could try disconnecting the heater element but that may send the machine into a fault mode, I don't know.

  16. Try sucking with a vax or if no vax, make a bung with a plastic bag and some rag on a stick and use it as a push and pull rod in the pipe to create suction and pressure.
  17. Can you blow down the discharge pipe? Not easy to do but use a poly bag over the end with a small hole so that your lips don't come into contact with the pipe.
  18. Whose is the adjustable spanner then? Surely not an "engineers". The bolt into the crankcase is normal, it will take the end thrust rather than weight which the front plate is designed to take distributed.
  19. Similar, but much more intimate. Right down to atomic level.

  21. Duck ! My chimney will fit under one but not the other.
  22. They are both supposed to be full narrow lock width. The towpath one was out of action for months, at first with no warning. It was up to the boater to find out it wouldn't work.
