  1. I'd be up for that. I did the Shine Walk one year for Cancer Research which was 26.2 miles around London, apart from the riverside bit it was a trudge along streets and I'd rather walk along towpaths.
  2. Open question. Do you think the pub will mind me parking my motorhome in their car park for the night, I will be eating and drinking in the pub, will I need to ask them first?

  7. No officer I haven't stolen the boat, it says I can move it on the sticker. Opps yards not miles.
  8. Sorry to go Glad to see I'm not the only "Elite" player, I've still got a lot to learn but love zapping the pirates at the resource extraction sites. Not done much trading or mining yet, I've just kitted out a Federal drop ship as a mining vessel but my fav so far is my Vulture build, can't afford the bigger ships yet.
  9. I'm currently playing Elite Dangerous, the concept is similar to the 80's game of Elite but the graphics are hugely improved, as you would expect. Now an internet connection is required though so it's a bit tricky playing it anywhere other than at home, I haven't tried to play on a mobile connection so I cannot comment on the OP. I would of thought it would be a bit laggy but I'm interested to hear what others have found

    Dumpers...

I've not heard of that expression before. I've got visions of a big yellow truck with a bucket on the front and a flashing yellow light on top tied to a bollard.
  11. Just checked my roster and that's my weekend off so pencil me in too please.
  12. I enjoyed watching the series and it does show what can be done but it's not my cup of tea. I wouldn't want to clean all that glass.
  13. Personally, I cannot do the Easter weekend as I'm working. Any other time then great!

  15. Personally I don't like the kitchen cabinets put in down the side, I prefer the U shape or either side with a stagger to allow you to walk passed, it's probably got a proper term for such a layout but I don't know what it is. My preferred boat layout would be:50 to 55 ft trad stern, bedroom to rear, kitchen in the middle with side hatch, living room to front, solid fuel stove ideally further down towards the middle of the living area rather than stuck in the front corner. That's my current "dream" boat but we all have different tastes, preferences and circumstances. Once I've got my boat I'll probably find out all the things I should of gone for instead. Happy hunting
  16. So there are CCers who want to get around the system and CMers who want to get around the system
  17. I love the fact that we all mingled, everyone spoke to everyone at some point in the evening. The pub didn't run out of beer or food either which is a bonus. A great night all round, thank you Richard for setting this up.
  18. I was thinking on the lines of the "You've been tango'ed" ads but Wested works as well :-)

  20. There could be any number of reasons why the OP has not been back on. No power, no internet, giving birth, who knows. I don't think we should welcome a new poster with such scepticism.
  21. Do we have a new saying now "Timothy'ed"
