  10. Try blocking and ignoring yourself, see if that works
  11. I agree with MP if this problem started after the fuel filter was changed, could you have introduced a small air leak? It may be so small that it would not allow fuel to drip out but as your tank level drops and the pump works harder it could draw air into the fuel system. I once changed the filter on my Barrus and omitted to replace one of the two rubber sealing rings. It took me ages to prime the system afterwards and the engine ran rough. It was at this point I noticed the ring stuck on the bottom of the old filter and a spare one in the new filter box.

  15. One advantage of freesat is that you can watch the local news from your own home area just about anywhere. With freeview you are only able to see the local news of the area you are in.
  16. Coming down the Oxford towards Hawkesbury last week I received a mouthful of abuse from a fisherman whose line I had cut with my prop. He was sat behind the remains of a brick wall in the bushes and wearing camouflaged clothing. I apologised but stated if he did not want boats to run over his gear he should make himself more noticeable. He carried on with his colourful description of my boating skills stating that I should have seen his bright red (half submerged) float in the water. I replied by asking him if he had seen my 60ft 18 tonne bright red narrowboat approaching? The conversation seemed to stall at this point.
