  1. Ah pity, I rebuilt one for a lot less than that, parts are a lot cheaper if you shop about, labour is the killer! Yeah prob best to replace it and have a go at rebuilding it yourself, if only for practice if you get it right then you have a nice shiney spare one!
  2. I've had great results with a stephill (honda engined) 1.5kw inverter generator picked it up used for £100 also is your gen burning oil (blue/grey smoke from exhaust) if so may just need piston rings and/or a barrel.

I also pop mine on the side window (Inside) when using it, receives great signal, I think its about 15 devices max, there are plenty of tweeky options in the main menu mines for 25gb over two devices (the router and the phone) comes to about £36 a month this inc the Osprey 2 and mobile phone bill too, they piggybacked the deal onto my existing phone contract.
  4. I'm using two breakers on mine, one on the + in of the panels and one on the + output of the controller, not much else needed really These also act as isolators at the push of a button ^.^

  8. I'm using a bank of semi traction 225ah batteries, having very good results with these beasts! Had some Lion sealed calcium 110ah ones before, they failed far too quick

  18. @ LC : thanks i have sent a PM to them, will try the marina also but doubtful they will have any @Bizzard : I don't have a matching bolt or drill bits small enough to suit, might have to be a backup plan if I cant source one though

Hi all, tipsy seems to have snapped her "injector bleed off" banjo bolt I have retrieved the bolt head, thread and washers, but for now I'm stuck where I am part number looks to be 601-36100 and it's for a lister TS2 can anyone help point me in a good supplier who could help (fast) as I need to be moving on VERY soon I'm in the berkhampshire area at the moment.   20. so when will they also ban the use of diesel backup generators in hospitals etc...... where does one draw the line... Hopefully as most of our diesels give us electricity, heat and propulsion they will give us a bit of a break.
