  2. Just tried Julynian's advice about removing one of the "/forums" from the address and can now get in. Defo some initial errors but I am sure it will settle down!

I can only seem to get to the site via Facebook, the www.canalworld.net URL gives A 404 error?

  10. Does look good. I have a Jambox (https://jawbone.com/speakers/jambox/overview) which is pretty impressive as well, it supports Bluetooth and can act as a handfree (useful onboard) Not sure the battery lasts 60 hours though...
  11. Old engine mounts, honest...

  15. Does anyone have experience of the Wesley Marine windows? The cost seem considerably cheaper than Worcester Marine, is that reflected in the quality? Or are Worcester just very expensive?

  21. PJ, heard about the raising from Flick, sounds like it was touch and go for a while. Great job from you and Mark. Bernie
  22. You do get a lot of shite sold on eBay, so a tank load may be a winner. Now what about a reserve price?
  23. Thanks for the replies. Having remeasured it looks like I will be able to get it out in one piece...which is nice. Not sure if Ian was joking about putting it on eBay, but guess it may be worth giving it a go, unless anyone here wants to take it off my hands?
  24. Hi all, So the refit of Tesla commences with the rip out of the bathroom and bedroom. All that remains now is the old holding tank and I am wondering what the best approach is for its disposal (apart from at arms length obviously )... The tank is fibreglass, and I think will lift up without too much effort. I think I might also be able to get it out of the bow without cutting it up (preferable as I don't know to what degree the previously owners cleaned it before blocking it off), although I may be being optimistic here. Having got it ashore though, what next, cut it up and take to the tip, hire a van and take it in one piece, or pay the local council to collect it? What have others done in this situation. And if I have to cut it up aboard, how should I do this to avoid potential close encounters with aged brown stuff? Apologies if you are (were) eating.
  25. I'm not, I think it is a damn good plan....
