  1. This topic is useful to many. Please remain on topic.
  2. Interesting. I also have my Webasto remote controlled via sim and their own app
  3. Try IFTTT to help reduce flow programming
  4. Interesting proposal. I see this as potentially also related to towpath cycling and feel it is, from that perspective, a step to far. So far as road cycling and having experienced the London experience, many times in my life as a driver, this could not come too soon.

  8. Clearly it’s a home game, home team always has the advantage
  9. Before you posted, why did you not use the boat licence checker? https://canalrivertrust.org.uk/boating/licensing/boat-check a playful but deceitful dig that does you no credit.

  13. I use two options. I have a Webasto diesel heater which heats hot water via the calorifier and radiator heating. When motoring I use the engine to heat calorifier.
  14. I use a foldable breakfast high chair, similar health problem, works a treat.
  15. ebay type in long weeding tool, apols re the huge url, I have removed it
  16. I could have but we were in Willington marina then and kings Bromley after. The elsan was always a decent walk away. Granted in the cut elsan points are more accessible.
  17. I can understand the frustration in deciding what type of setup as whichever choice is made it’s going to cost. Whilst this issue has been debated many times, it is reasonable for those of us with experience to share, if we wish, our thoughts and decision where we had a choice. We had a dump through and the smell was not good. Upon removing the holding tank we discovered it had all but rotted through. As the smell was a factor plus SWMBO did not want to cart cassettes to Elsan Points, we decided to maintain a pump out but as best we could, have a closed system. Whilst we have a vent it has a charcoal filter and we have not had any unpleasant odours in the last two years of use. We do use odourless but have no evidence that it makes a difference, just habit.
  18. It has a standard full level after a flush. I suppose filling further is determined by the deposit? or deciding whether a double flush is required.
