    Don't forget the fuel tank needs pressure testing and having a hatch that will need a good seal is going to make this more difficult.

    Never had an inspection hatch on any of my boats but have always had a decent drain at the lowest point of the tanks. Never had much water in the tanks either. Maybe pint or so in 30 years.

    The CNC machine at work cut it fine using a router type thing not sure what speed it ran at.

    HDPE can be cut with a saw and drilled much like wood can just take it easy. I used a jigsaw to cut my fender hangers. Never had a problem with it melting. My hangers were two pieces bolted together as I only had 10mm thick HDPE. A deburring tool is essential to get rid of the sharp edges.

    I'm afraid most of it came as scrap off cuts from my last work place. I did get some from on eBay for other projects. A very useful plastic 🤔

    HDPE is great stuff, hard enough to have strength but soft enough not to damage the paint provided all edges and corners are rounded off with a deburring tool.

    If I had to it would be a bowline. However mine were attached in the same way a tent guy rope is, easily adjustable.

    Found a pic from the sales details that just shows the hole there are two on each rubber. Blue arrow points to hole

    The original rubber would have a couple of slots in the top to allow water to pass down below and out of the drains. I don't have the boat anymore so can't do a picture😲

    I guess it's due to the fact that B42/48 and N78 are all in the same frequency band. My Huawei says 5g only on the external ports but looks like in reality it means 3.5ghz band. Never seen it expressed as channels before. Question is do the lower frequency 4g channels use the internal antennas when external antennas are connected?

    You generally only need 5kW to run a heat pump and heat a house so 3kW would be enough to run a heat pump to keep a boat warm.🤔

    It has to be more than the cost of a full time mooring in that area divided by 365. £15 would be more reasonable outside London.

    I found a fault! Whilst is supports most bands on its internal antennas on external antennas only B42 and B48 on 4G and N78 on 5G are supported. So not much use on 4G if you need external antennas.

    Found this on eBay. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/276346684524? Seems a good bit of kit and small. Can @IanD find a fault with it to stop me getting one 🤔

    My old system was a din mount as well, I just fitted it in its place using a blanking panel and used din to cable adapters where required. Possibly not suitable for the OP but it worked for me, twice and might suit someone else looking for ideas.

    I got bored with rubbish radio reception and fitted a Nobsound It has line in and BT. I streamed stuff off my phone or ran it from the TV output. Worked very well just like a large BT speaker 😉 There are lots of Nobsound units on the market each slightly different 🤔
