churchward
Ergot poisoning is known as st Antony's fire. Regards kris That's what I thought but I got confused with St Elmo's fire. These saints have a lot to answer for!

Dyertribe
I said it even more posts back. On a point of order you didn't mention St Anthony's fire, just that you thought LSD was derived from ergot. Just saying.

So what would you like a medal or a carrot. Ergotamine is a precursor to LSD. Regards kris

Taslim
That's what I thought but I got confused with St Elmo's fire. These saints have a lot to answer for! To true. They have. That St Godric was a bit of a lad and had a share boat. I was also thinking St Elmo (Erasmus, Patron of sailors, symbol a windlas?) and stand corrected thanks to kris88 & Dyretribe. St Elmos' fire is awsome to see especialy if your not to happy about being in a small boat in lumpy water anyway.
