Time lapse, messing about on the Nene at Northampton. Heading downstream from Midsummer Meadows, winding at the A45, then back again. 30 mins in 6 mins.

AFAIK it's not qoing to be. It's been replaced by the facilities in the marina.

We (my nephew) did ours using a GPro 10MP. Here we are messing about at the other end of the Nene (from 4'30" onwards). 9 hours compressed into 6 minutes...

Another good film.

 

I'm still learning the techniques with a Mobius which tends to lack quality at 30fps if taking at less than 2fps but I'd rather learn on a cheap camera until I'm good enough to learn on a posh one.

the way the vikings and romans used to do it

 

and before anyone tells me it is dangerous letting the current make me cut the corners on the wrong side

 

I can hear anything coming the other way long before it arrives
