LOCATION: St Neots Lock

DETAILS

Due to a mechanical issue that has developed with the guillotine gate at the above location it has become necessary to close the lock.

We are arranging for contractors to visit the site as soon as possible and will issue an update when new information becomes available.

For further information please call the Incident Communications Service (ICS) on 0800 80 70 60 and ask to speak to the River Great Ouse Waterways Duty Officer.

The Environment Agency apologise for any inconvenience caused.

St Ives lock now repaired and operating normally.

Yes. We were one of the first boats through after it reopened on the 8th.

 

They said they would be finished by 4pm and they called us on the vhf at 3.45pm to say they were ready to try and lock us through.
