grout on hearth

Hi all,

 

Quite simply what would you recommend for grout under the stove and on the hearth surrounds? I have some flexible tile grout is this totally inappropriate?

Just checked the tub. We've been using B&Q own brand wall tile adhesive and grout. We did the stove base and sides first about 8 years ago. No failure in that time. Have redone it again this year as part of the refit. Hoping for exactly the same results!

You can get spray on grout sealer which protects the colour.

Put my stove in 2day and used bog standard wickes mix yer own stuff. Used it b4 without problem.

The surround to our fire is stainless sheeting. Nowt wrong with it. We want to tile,preferably over this S/S. Is this possible. Will the tiles stick and stay stuck? What adhesive to use?
