Something not working.

I've just noticed that mine and a few others that I've checked are not having the amount of ''profile views'' updated in Profiles. Posts made are though.

Can I ask for examples of counts you believe are incorrect and why? Pm them if you dont want to overly divulge.

 

I dont know the exact way the counter works, as its obviously comes with the software, and it may be that repeat views from the same user, in a short space of time or otherwise, are deliberately not counted. However if you feel its not work correctly I will raise a concern with Invision, who supply the software.

I think it counts every time someone views your profile. My count usually increases by about 40 or so daily and is stuck on 13194 and has not increased for several days. Athy's who is just above me on the board is also stuck on 9741. Not that its at all important, just odd.

Most of these profile views must be phantom visits anyway.

 

I was getting similar volumes of visits last time I looked but the list of 'Latest Visitors' suggests only one or two real visitors per day, on both my and Bizzard's profiles.

Something else a bit odd has happend, my profile will not show any topics started by myself before 1st January this year.
