The boats fitted with a leisure battery for all the intiror lights and water pump and a separate battery for the electric start

All charged off a 15 hp Honda.

As you can see this is all very new to me lol

Must be a small boat. Do you know the AH of your leisure battery, and how many rated amps is the alternator?. Depending on how much tv you use you might need to add another leisure battery, also a small solar panel 50w to 100 w might be a good investment.

I guess a couple of hours a night couple of nights a week at most for the tv.

Ive been thinking of a solar panel, Are they a case of bigger the better?

We have a Cello 22" 12v/240v TV DVD Freeview combination. Plug straight into a 12v socket car type. It also comes with 240 v adaptor.

Works fine so far. Ours was £180 odd fromACDC on ebay. Had to buy speakers from them as well as the sound is a bit dodgy, okay bur dodgy in quality. Connects by USB in the back of the telly for power. £17.00.

No point getting something far beyond your needs.

Probably best start a new topic, give as much detail as poss on what things are being used and the existing setup.

cheers, Pete.
