I guess this means that he and his wife are expecting or have just had a baby, so they need more living space, so the part exchange would be for a bigger boat.

 

Not sure what you mean about the swan neck - it is only distantly visible in the photo, so it's hard to tell if it is over-engineered or not.

 

This does look like a neat little craft, though it is a pity that there are not more pictures of its interior.

He's talking about the boat that was the original subject of the thread, not the (allegedly?) Teddesley GRP topped one added to the thread more recently, I think.

Thanks. Sorry for misunderstanding.

Which makes me wonder: is there any reason, apart from aesthetic, for the swan neck being swan-neck-shaped rather than just vertical? is it a question perhaps of balancing its weight?
