tree
hmmm... interesting lickle occurence happened today and moi was wondering if any other river dweller saw something similar ( Yes !! moi is very inquisitive ..hence the following .. ok!! moi is nosy after moi got back to base and was just orf for a shower . ..moi spotted a soldier in uniform wandering around with a tablet in his hand taking what looked like piccies of the river bank (men in uniforms..... mmm...stop it tree concentrate ), so wandered over for a natter and was told the following : that he and other soldiers were doing a river/ river bank observation / record ..hence the piccie taking ectera for the EA, of all the rivers. Moi said aww..flipping nora we could have done with a couple of you lads at the flight today helping to clear and tidy the area.. he said they are only recording the river areas. Hence wondering if anyone else has seen other soldiers around their part of the rivers. moi did indeedy get all excited ..nearly ran to the famer to borrow some of his khaki clothes to go orf on a 'yomp' lol ohhh... happy memories of moi TA days hahahahha. junior
I believe some officers from the Royal Engineers that already had structural/surveying experience, have received some specialist training to enable them to carry out inspections in the wake of the flood. I'd be interested to know how this has gone down within an Environment Agency threatened with job cuts. Also, can someone from the Grammer Police let me know whether I should have put the comma in between experience and have please? Every day is a learning day! Not sure if I've been admitted to the hallowed halls of the dreaded GP yet, but I would have left it out. Forgive me, but I might also transpose your "had" and "have". Usual disclaimers! I am not a grammar policeman, but I would have entered a comma after the word' Engineers' and kept the comma that you have after the word 'experience' that's wot I would have done!
