1934 fire boat restored

The Massey Shaw has just completed restoration at Nielsen's in Gloucester Docks. It was at Dunkirk.

Which were a pair of Glennifers iirc.

Engines were, when TVs "Salvage Squad" did their thing on Massey Shaw about 10 years ago, a pair of straight 8 Gleniffers.

 

I hope they still are ! If not I'd like to know where they have gone.

This is the port-side main engine - a Gleniffer DH8 - on test last year

It was there a few years ago when I looked over the boat at the london boat show and it was a floating exhibit.....I saw the boat again this year at Neilsens but I couldn't blag myself a look around!....hope they have kept it.
